Coming Home to Yourself

Guiding you to unleash your healing power.

Have you ever felt that you have done so much work on yourself, yet something still feels unresolved? Perhaps you are navigating chronic stress, persistent pain, addiction recovery, or patterns that seem to repeat through your family. Perhaps you are simply tired of living in survival mode and longing for a more compassionate way forward.

I'm Elizabeth Kipp. My work brings together professional training, lived experience, nervous-system awareness, trauma-informed practices, and spiritually grounded Ancestral Clearing. I help people explore the patterns that shape their lives, reconnect with their own inner resources, and discover new possibilities for greater peace, resilience, and choice.

I am based in eastern Kansas and work virtually with clients around the world. My private sessions are personalized to your needs, and I welcome you to explore whether this work feels right for you.

Who I Help

I work with people who are ready to explore a different relationship with stress, chronic pain, recovery, and the patterns that shape their lives.

Some come to me feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. Others are navigating addiction recovery, difficult life transitions, or emotional patterns that seem to repeat despite their best efforts to change them.

Many have already invested time and energy in therapy, personal development, spiritual exploration, or other healing practices. They've gained insight, yet something still feels unresolved.

Through Ancestral Clearing and compassionate, trauma-informed support, I help people explore what they may be carrying, reconnect with their own inner resources, and discover new possibilities for moving forward.

My clients come from different backgrounds and stages of life. What connects them is a desire for greater peace, self-understanding, and the freedom to meet life with more presence, choice, and compassion.

You don't need to have all the answers, know your family history, or follow a particular spiritual path to begin.

You are welcome just as you are.

Ancestral Clearing: Exploring the Patterns We Carry

Ancestral Clearing is a central part of my professional practice. It is a spiritually grounded, experiential approach to exploring emotional burdens, recurring family patterns, and experiences that may feel connected to personal or ancestral history.

Pastel illustration of a granddaughter and grandmother representing ancestral connection.

People often seek this work when they recognize familiar patterns of fear, grief, shame, emotional suppression, over-responsibility, scarcity, addiction, or relationship difficulties. Others feel stuck without being able to explain why. Some are curious about whether family history and their responses to stress may be connected to the suffering they experience today.

What Happens During a Session?

Every session begins with you and what you are experiencing. We do not need to uncover every detail of your ancestry or identify the precise origin of a pattern to work compassionately with what is present.

Ancestral Clearing is a collaborative process. I attune to the client and guide them through clearing techniques that incorporate prayer, gratitude, humility, and forgiveness. Within this practice, forgiveness is understood as offering up what no longer serves you to Creator, Source, or whatever name you use for the source of Creation. It does not mean condoning harm or requiring reconciliation with someone who has hurt you.

During our work, I may invite you to notice sensations, emotions, memories, or shifts in your experience. There is nothing you need to force. We approach what arises with curiosity rather than judgment.

You do not need to know your family history or hold a particular spiritual belief. My intention is to support greater awareness, self-compassion, and connection with your own inner resources.

Explaining Ancestral Clearing can be a little like describing chocolate to someone who has never tasted it. I can explain the ingredients and process, but the experience itself is something you discover firsthand.

Private Ancestral Clearing Sessions

Sessions are offered virtually, are personalized to your concerns, and generally range from approximately 25 to 50 minutes depending on the session.

“In my Ancestral Clearing session with Elizabeth Kipp we worked on a deeply ingrained pattern that has run my life. I’ve worked on this pattern for decades. After our session, I hardly recall what it was. The story got deflated and I feel energized to move beyond it.”

My Journey Through Chronic Pain and Recovery

My work is deeply personal because I know what it is like to suffer and to wonder whether there is a way through.

I lived with chronic pain for decades and experienced addiction to prescribed pain and anti-anxiety medications. I know the exhaustion of searching for answers, the fear that accompanies ongoing pain, and the experience of living in a body and nervous system organized around survival.

Elizabeth Kipp outdoors in Costa Rica in 2015.

My journey through chronic pain and prescription medication addiction into recovery changed how I understood suffering. I came to recognize the importance of considering the relationships among physical experience, stress, thoughts, emotions, nervous-system responses, personal history, and spiritual life.

I also discovered how powerful it can be to replace self-criticism with curiosity. Many of our responses begin as attempts to protect us. Understanding those responses can create room for compassion and different choices.

Elizabeth Kipp outdoors beside a woodpile.

Today, I bring that lived experience together with professional training in Ancestral Clearing, recovery coaching, nervous-system-informed approaches, yoga, meditation, and compassionate inquiry.

My role is not to fix another human being. I believe the greatest healer lives within each of us. I offer support, education, and a compassionate space for people to reconnect with their own capacity for healing.

My understanding of healing continues to be shaped by professional learning, spiritual practice, community, and the experiences of the people I have the privilege to work with.

Coming home to yourself is not about becoming someone else. It is about discovering more room to be who you are.

Support for Chronic Stress, Chronic Pain, and Recovery

I support people navigating chronic stress, persistent pain, addiction recovery, and patterns of emotional or nervous-system overwhelm. My approach recognizes that these experiences can affect many parts of life, including relationships, self-trust, everyday functioning, and the ability to feel present.

A Personalized Approach to Your Healing Journey

Every person arrives with a different story, and every session is shaped by what you need.

I offer personalized, compassionate support informed by my experience in stress management, chronic pain, addiction recovery, and ancestral and historical trauma.

We may explore the effects of ongoing stress, recurring emotional patterns, difficult experiences, or family histories that feel connected to what you are navigating today.

Ancestral Clearing is a central part of my work. It offers a spiritually grounded opportunity to explore inherited patterns, cultivate awareness, and support your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

My intention is to help you reconnect with your inner resources, strengthen your capacity to respond to life's challenges, and explore possibilities for greater resilience, self-empowerment, and peace.

You do not need to arrive with a specific diagnosis, a complete family history, or a particular spiritual belief. We begin with what is present for you.

Recovery, Education, and Public Conversations

My lived experience also informs my participation in conversations about prescription medications, recovery, and the complexities of living with chronic pain.

Graduate-Level Guest Teaching and Custom Wellness Education

Education is an important part of my work. I bring together lived experience, professional training, and experiential teaching to help students and participants understand complex subjects in accessible, practical ways.

I served as a guest teacher for master's-level mental health students in an online self-care and wellness course designed by Jessica Gammell-Bennett for the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

I designed and taught three educational segments:

  • Ancestral Healing
  • Trauma-Informed Yoga
  • Self-Care for Health Professionals

The teaching incorporated experiential and kinesthetic approaches to help students engage with the material beyond theory alone.

The TPN Wellness Academy

I also contribute to professional wellness education through The TPN Wellness Academy. In this instructor introduction, I present my work as an educator in trauma recovery, bringing together professional training, lived experience, and compassionate, experiential approaches to learning.

Professional Teaching Recommendation

“Elizabeth came highly recommended by Anna Pierera, founder of the Wellness Universe. She designed three segments for the self care/wellness course I designed for the University of North Carolina at Wilmington: Ancestral Healing, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and Self Care for Health professionals. In each segment, Elizabeth taught the concepts in a kinesthetic manner that made it much more tangible for students to grasp. During the demo session that we recorded for the ancestral healing segment, I experienced a profound healing where I could actually feel the trauma of my ancestors leaving my body. Specifically, I felt feelings of persecution and dislocation leaving my body. Elizabeth asked me if I had trouble accessing joy, and I do. She told me that based on my ancestry, that wasn't surprising. This deepened my understanding of epigenetics, ancestral trauma, and the role they play in intergenerational transmission. I highly recommend working with Elizabeth. She comes highly prepared with organized curriculum and truly delivers.”

Jessica Gammell-Bennett

This recommendation describes the reviewer's personal experience and perspective.

Speaking, Workshops, and Educational Programs

I welcome opportunities to teach, speak, facilitate workshops, and contribute to conversations about chronic pain, stress management, addiction recovery, Ancestral Clearing, nervous-system awareness, trauma-informed yoga and meditation, and compassionate approaches to personal growth.

My teaching is informed by professional training and lived experience. I value creating an environment where participants can engage with ideas through reflection, embodied awareness, and practical learning.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Ancestral Clearing?

Ancestral Clearing is a spiritually grounded practice that creates space to explore emotional burdens, recurring patterns, and experiences that may feel connected to personal or family history. My approach includes compassionate awareness, prayer, gratitude, humility, forgiveness, and attention to present-moment experience.

2. Do I need to know my family history to experience Ancestral Clearing?

No. We begin with what you are experiencing now. You do not need a detailed family tree or knowledge of specific ancestral events to participate.

3. Do I need to follow a particular spiritual tradition?

No. Ancestral Clearing is spiritually grounded, but you do not need to belong to a particular faith or hold a specific spiritual belief. I approach each person with respect for their individual perspective.

4. What happens during an Ancestral Clearing session?

We explore the concern you bring and work collaboratively with what arises. I guide the process while inviting you to notice your experience without judgment. Each session is personalized rather than following a fixed script.

5. How long is a private session?

Private Ancestral Clearing sessions generally range from approximately 25 to 50 minutes, depending on the session selected. Booking details are available through my website.

6. Can I work with you virtually?

Yes. I am based in eastern Kansas and offer private sessions virtually to clients around the world. My private client work is currently virtual.

7. Can Ancestral Clearing help me understand recurring family patterns?

Exploring recurring family patterns is one reason people seek Ancestral Clearing. We may examine experiences involving fear, grief, shame, emotional suppression, relationships, or other patterns, without assuming we know their exact origin or promising a particular result.

8. Can ancestral healing help me understand my chronic pain?

Some people wish to explore how stress, personal history, family patterns, and their responses to difficult experiences relate to living with persistent pain. I do not assume chronic pain has one cause or that ancestral work will produce a specific physical outcome. This work complements, rather than replaces, appropriate medical care.

9. Do you provide addiction recovery coaching?

Yes. I am a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach and offer compassionate support for people navigating recovery. When medication changes or tapering are involved, those decisions must remain under the guidance of appropriate prescribing or medical professionals.

10. Do you offer sound healing sessions online?

No. I participate in sound-healing and sacred-listening events as a sound healer with the Society for Sacred Listening, but I do not offer sound healing as a separate online service.

11. What educational programs and workshops do you offer?
