As we head into the season of light, the season of giving, I was inspired in meditation to reflect on random acts of kindness. As you go about your day, I ask that you take a moment when interacting with people to share a smile or a kind word. Often people get in “go mode” and brush aside or discount human interactions. I suggest that you slow it down, enjoy the moment, the present experience is part of what makes up your day. Why not enjoy it and share your joy with those around you?
It’s the unexpected joys that seem to make the most significant impact. You never know what your random act of kindness can do for someone. Give it a try!
