As we start out this New Year, it’s a time when we often think of ways we want to improve or do better. Often this leads to a new work out schedule or diet; today I’m suggesting that you take this time to look inward and do some self-exploratory exercises. Choose activities such as self-help reading, affirmations, meditating, or creating a vision board. Set an intention for your goal and ask yourself, “At this moment in time, what do I truly desire to experience?” This question will set the direction of your personal growth path.
By engaging in these peaceful exercises, it assists in not only learning who we are but also how to bring peace, balance and a quiet sense of empowerment to ourselves. We allow our bodies and minds to release stress and rest, our creative thoughts to emerge and be present in our everyday lives. Give it a try and enjoy a sense of inner peace!
Enjoy a fresh perspective using skills of mindfulness in the New Year! Happy New Beginnings!
