Building a great customer experience starts with someone feeling good. Building trust requires showing up, being you, sharing your knowledge and how you can help someone. The way you do that allows a person to decide on a bunch of things: Do they like you? Do they feel they can trust you? Do they feel compelled to buy the solutions you are selling?
In the health, wellness, well-being space, it’s most important to connect with our ideal client. Through many modalities we share what we do and how we do it, but the WHO we are can only be experienced. Though messaging, content, writing books, connecting and networking give a taste of what we can offer a real getting to know you is needed to gain new clients.
When we boil it down, whether we are increasing awareness and helping with weight-loss, fitness, feeling better physically, or reducing stress, gaining confidence, or finding life-balance, etc. Wellness-preneurs are selling promises and positive emotional outcomes. Life experience on the other side of their current life is soooooo much better for them, right? And YOU are the one to help them get there.
Sharing who you are and what you do is essential to success. Human connection is key. Allowing someone to get to know you, trust you and see the value in what you do and how it benefits them are all necessary.
Our emotions have a lot to do with our decisions. How do you make someone feel good, safe, smart, confident, courageous, accepted?
Solving someone’s problem is a lot deeper than having the right tools you use to facilitate change or give guidance. In fact, you know you cannot solve ANYONE’S problems. You can only facilitate change to happen that will produce a favorable outcome and better life experience. If you are the catalyst to making them feel better than they were, then you have experienced success.
How to we begin to evoke good emotions from the beginning? Introducing someone to what we do and who we are is challenging but essential…Especially online.
In fact, it’s big business to collect the data on facial expressions, this is known as Emotional Metrics and being used in marketing right now. “Emotions Are Integral to Customer Acquisition, Retention, and Loyalty … A customer’s emotions or feelings directly affect their purchase decision and the extent or frequency of their purchases.

Are you familiar with ‘Many people can do what you do, but no one does it like you’? So, the key here is sharing what you do, who you are and how you do it. The WHO you are is the heavyweight. Making someone feel good comes from the WHO as well as the how.
I am a huge advocate of connection and sharing value. If you are awesome and have something awesome that makes people feel better, I love you already! Have you considered hosting your own classes, group sessions, webinars, masterclass, etc.? This is an excellent way to connect with people, live, uninhibited and in a supportive environment.
Why does uninhibited matter? As they are in the comfort of their own home, interacting with you and asking questions is easier from behind their computer. They may not be brave enough to ask questions or engage in live, in-person scenarios. Giving someone that kind of support and help is priceless. This makes someone feel good, supported and starts building trust.
Your genuine support builds the trust that is needed to be THE person that individual can trust and feel good about working with. This is positive Emotional Metrics at work.
