There will always be more to do, goals to accomplish, ideals to rise to, visions to be made real ... but in the midst of it all, for sanity and sanctity, we must carve out space and place to unwind, recharge and center in on what is of ultimate value and deep desire. As our first day LIVE with this new and WoWtastic 3.0 version of WU ... I just want to relay what a delight and honor it has been, and is, to adventure in communications and message-crafting alongside this Powerhouse Team of co-creators @annapereira @sharialyse @briansurowiec (and his dynamo team). Your vision Anna and Shari, along with your tenacity and undeniable commitment to quality of product and support for this outstanding community of #WorldChangers, is second to none. I've been fortunate through my career to watch many missions come to fruition, and you just 'know' when there is Magic in the Make. THIS, born of genuine desire to empower and uplift, nurtured by unwavering belief despite ups and downs, IS how stellar, success stories are born, to be told to countless generations. And honestly, they know and I've seen, the unique and powerful loyalty that they've instilled in their team - through their love, appreciation and desire to evolve spontaneously and with openness and celebration of creativity. This WU Team, as so many of you #WUVIP understand personally, @ashleybrewer @heatherdurling @kimberlybayne @jennifertasker @heathercorinnelang work tirelessly for a vision and visionaries they believe in and love deeply. We cannot go gently into love, truly, if we are to experience the breathtaking rise as it embraces us tenderly, madly, often unexpectedly. We must, simply must, surrender and allow it to sweep us up and away to unimagined places. In this vulnerability, we can sometimes feel as though it all could break us, yes. But the alternative is a safety that is devoid of splendor. We are here for such a fleeting time, designed to tap the elements of human nature, the world, all its liberations and failings, to experience it all ... and ultimately amidst the daily adventure to remain connected to our divine self, so that we may see it all through the eyes of our extraordinary, higher self, through the eyes of God. After a lifetime of riding love's ebbs and flows, a man entered in who saw all of me and loved me because of, and in spite of, myself. He was somehow dazzled by my sparkle, undaunted by my drive and desire to perpetually expand and evolve in mind and heart and life. And then I held my son, and then another, and the flood of love nearly swept me away to a place from which I could hardly return. I know fear now, as I've never known, to keep safe these tiny beings and feisty souls. I know madness, desire and delight, as never before. So now the calling is to evolve in trust, to balance guidance with a knowing that these precious spirits I love so dearly are on their own unique, dynamic and fabulous adventure in this life and it is equally my role to surrender as to support. I do wish you madness in love, with partners, children, strangers-come-friends, because in this you know it is real and precious, rare and powerful. But also, I wish you perspective and an ability to view it all from a place of wisdom, understanding and faith, that who you are and what you share, the very love that binds you … is enough. Love how Anna and Shari and this whole WU Team have kept their eyes on the prize. There have been many details to wade through (as the Communications Advisor for WU, I know a bit of the background on this 😉 ). But as I watch them juggle and plan and re-juggle and toil and create and re-create again and again ... always their eyes are on the Fire, the uniqueness of The Wellness Universe, and No Matter What they are not willing to sacrifice their vision for Exceptional, in order to just get 'er done. THIS is the sign of true leadership. When everyone thinks you're Mad because you will not falter in your mission, your ideal for what can ultimately be, THIS is when you are right on track! Thank you Anna, Shari and all my fellow WU Team members for keeping this powerful dream alive and committing to the daily work required to make The Wellness Universe what it IS and to allow it to evolve into what it is ultimately meant to be.
