Joan M. Brennan is the inventor of the physical and digital Reading Focus Cards for challenged readers of all ages (U.S. Patents 7,565,759 & 8,360,779). The first prototypes for her reading tools were designed and created as a result of the student needs in her own classroom.  A graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis with teaching certification from the State of Missouri (K-12), she has taught grades 6 through 8 for more than 15 years.
