I am Rachel Vasquez, your ally on this journey of transformation. As the Founder and CEO of Living Beyond Grief, and a Senior Partner at The Wellness Universe, I’ve spent years fostering resilience and empowerment in women who have faced similar trials.

In the wake of a heartbreaking motorcycle accident, Rachel faced the unimaginable; she became a widow and a single parent to her four extraordinary children overnight. The loss of her husband left her fragmented, grappling with a whirlwind of emotions, and the loss of her soulmate felt tremendous to bear. She was in uncharted territory, a place of profound loss and confusion, navigating a sea of sorrow without a compass.

But in the middle of her pain, Rachel started on a new path. It was a path of self-discovery, of understanding what her new role in life had to become. Rachel didn’t want to feel sorry for herself; she wanted to build a happy life again, both for herself and her children. She wanted to be a strong role model for them. Along the way, she realized that the old guidebooks on how to handle grief weren’t helping — there were no rules on how to handle loss. Rachel believed she could fill this gap; she could help others find their way too!

Through her journey, Rachel learned the value of slowing down and taking care of herself. She found out that sometimes, it’s important to just pause, breathe, and be kind to oneself. Now, she lives a life fuller and richer than before, changed from the inside out, carrying both the memory of her loss and the fresh joy of new beginnings.
