Why Raw Is Good For You

Raw foods are “life-giving” and cooking foods can deplete the alkalizing minerals. Adding more raw (or lightly steamed) foods to your diet will increase your nutrients and help to reduce acidity and inflammation.

So, it only makes sense that the more whole (unprocessed) the food, the more nutrition we will be receiving.

Some great raw food options are of course fruits, especially berries, carrots, celery, mushrooms, cabbage. Break out your salad bowl and go crazy!

Also, it has been my experience, that munching on carrot and celery sticks helps to curb my salty crunchy snack cravings, as well as my sweets cravings.

Will you be giving this a try? Let me know in the comments!
