A little bit more about Angie….

My husband and I have been married over 20 years and have adopted from the foster care system, adoption disruptions, internationally independent and privately. Our oldest at adoption placement was sixteen years old and our youngest was newborn. We’ve seen trauma up close and personal and the effects of trauma in their young adult lives. I am the author of PHOENIX BOUND: An adoptive mom of 13 shares her struggle raising traumatized children and co-author of EMPOWERING WOMEN TO SUCCEED: Turning Tragedy into Triumph.
