My husband and I have been married over 20 years and have adopted from the foster care system, adoption disruptions, internationally independent and privately. Our oldest at adoption placement was sixteen years old and our youngest was newborn. We’ve seen trauma up close and personal and the effects of trauma in their young adult lives.
