This past week I was surprised to learn that my book “Healthy Aging & You” had been selected by the review staff at Author’s Press – a California based publishing house – to be highlighted (only one book per category is selected for the festival) in the health and fitness category for the prestigious Brooklyn Book Festival in New York in September. A representatives dedicated to my book will be on hand during the festival to answer questions and promote my message of healthy aging – mentally, physically and spiritually. Media from around the world and publishing houses from across the country will be in attendance – along with the public – to identify authors and books that stand out and have a unique message to share with the world (this is my hope of course). I am excited to know that my book resonated with the staff at Author’s Press and hopefully I will be able to find a platform for sharing my message that “it is never too late” to start working on “becoming older and not old”. As I look forward to my 72nd birthday this August, I am also passionately committed to making a difference in the lives of people of all ages and bringing my message to the world. My second book – completed last summer – will be published sometime after the festival in New York. It is entitled “Your Legacy: Living on Purpose” and explores the paths to becoming focused and prepared to make one’s individual contribution to life before the end of our journey here on earth. Peace and prosperity are possible if we indeed DO discover, develop and share our natural gifts creating a world of harmony, peace and joy for not only ourselves – but the world that we touch as well. Stay healthy and treat yourself well – you deserve it! Aloha, Nick
