I do not really work as much with veterans as this requires very specific experience and training, however I have helped many clients who suffer from childhood trauma and abuse. ​With so many war veterans diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as well as above than average incidents of shootings, and specifically the recent shooting close to my home, in Parkland, Fl, I decided to write this article. In order to bring some clarity as to what PTSD is and also to offer some suggestions as to how it can be treated.
